Finding Jacob: A Remrod Film

In partnership with Sacred Spaces of Care, Finding Jacob tells the powerful true story of Jacob Dunavant and the network of care that helped change his life. This short film highlights what’s possible when law enforcement, recovery centers, and community organizations work together to remove barriers and offer real support. Through the voices of navigators, CIT officers, and Jacob himself, the film sheds light on the human side of healing — where compassion, collaboration, and vulnerability lead the way.

Through intimate interviews, rehearsals, and live performances, this documentary captures the impact of mentorship, creativity, and opportunity on St. Louis youth.
